Undergraduate Admission: New Students

Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 from the last school attended. This requirement may be waived for a transcript more than three years old. Follow the admission instructions for the Adult/Adult Transfer Student type.

The Adult Enrollment Center centralizes all the information you need to enroll at DePaul as an adult student, whether you have attended college before or are enrolling for the first time.

Undergraduate Admission: Returning Students

Follow the admission instructions for the Readmitted Student type. Create a new account with a different username and password than your Campus Connect credentials.

Quarterly readmission application deadlines:

Fall:  Aug. 1
Winter: Dec. 1
Spring: March 1
Summer: June 1

Graduate Student Admission

Prospective graduate students must have a completed undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants will interview with representatives from the program's graduate admission committee as part of the admission process. Interviews will be scheduled upon initial review of all submitted application materials.

Admission Instructions

To apply, please submit the following:

  • A completed online application at http://go.depaul.edu/apply
  • A $25 nonrefundable application fee (waived for DePaul alumni)
  • A current resume (upload into the online application)
  • An application essay that addresses key questions pertinent to assessing the fit of the particular program to the student and vice versa (upload into the online application)
  • Official transcripts documenting all prior college/university coursework mailed to the SNL office:

NOTE: Standardized test scores are not required; however, applicants who have taken tests such as the GRE, GMAT, Miller Analogies, etc., within the previous three years are encouraged to submit their scores. International students are advised to contact DePaul's International Programs Office to learn of further university requirements that may apply.
