Barbara Radner is Associate Professor and Director of the Center for
Urban Education at SNL. She most recently served as Scholar in Residence at the Chicago History
Museum. Her BA in English is from the University of Illinois. Her MST in Early Childhood Education and her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction are from the University of Chicago. Her areas of specialization and interest are urban education, literacy, museum education, arts education, social sciences and history. She is a member of the
Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and National Council on Social Studies.
