Welcome to the Personnel Policy and Professional Development Committee (PPDC) of the School for New Learning of DePaul University. The Committee offers opportunities for professional development to resident and visiting faculty, and is committed to interdisciplinary research.

It is the intention of PPDC to provide a venue for faculty scholarship. PPDC periodically hosts guest speakers and forums about research-related issues. PPDC also welcomes new faculty members.

Resident faculty have access to an annual research allowance of $1,600. Visiting faculty can apply twice a year for research support up to $300. See Faculty Information, Requests and Forms for funding requests and procedures.
