SNL offers proficiency exams for the L4, L5, L6 and S5 competencies. Students may only register once for each exam, and at least 2 quarters before an expected graduation date. Each exam requires a non-refundable fee. Cancellation or reschedule requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the exam. Exams must be passed on the first attempt. Failing requires an SNL course to satisfy the competence. Exams submitted late are not accepted. Exam previews provide exam requirements. Official exams are sent after registration.
