Leyfane J. Thomas is the Assistant to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Enrollment Management and the Associate Dean for Operations and Student Engagement. Her responsibilities include logistical support for faculty and student success services (i.e. faculty mentor assignments, data collection for faculty activity and professional advisors, content management, marketing and communications) and procurement and supply management.  She coordinates and manages several department annual events.  She also provides additional administrative and logistical support on behalf of four of SNLs complex and confidential committees (i.e. Faculty Search, Promotion/Tenure, Formal Review and the Faculty Chair). Leyfane serves as a committee member of SNLs Diversity and Social Justice, Excellence Awards, Student Success/Support and is a Chicago Quarter Mentor Staff Professional.  She successfully completed an advanced study of and application in the field of diversity and inclusion, earn several certificates in educating adults and is Chapter Councilor for the SNL Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda (a honor society for adult students).  Leyfane  holds a Bachelor of Arts with a focus area in Business Media Communications and a Master of Arts in Educating Adults, focusing on Community Engaged-Learning, both from DePaul University.
